INTRODUCTION

The SUPERB module is a student development module that aims to strengthen a holistic, professional and humanitarian approach to develop better individuals. SUPERB includes five main principles consisting of superior, ummah-professional, excellence, Rabbani and virtue, with three main cores which are Holistic, Professional and Humanitarian. 

The SUPERB program will focus on the elements of University Social Services (USR), Knowledge Transfer Program (KTP) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). KTP was designed to encourage the transfer of knowledge to target communities and industries to strengthen the knowledge of the general public. While the programs run by students will achieve 17 goals outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

Evaluation and scoring for the SUPERB Program will be developed based on each evaluation item and scoring rubric. This program will provide encouragement and significant benefits in forming students who are visionary and responsible in realizing aspirations for sustainable development in the achievement of KPT and SDGs. Through the framework of SUPERB, the graduates who will be produced are able to compete in a challenging life, applying faith and piety in administration and management. The result is graduates who have noble character, good communication skills, can work together and have professionalism. The development of the SUPERB Module will also form graduates who think critically in solving problems and can make accurate decisions and then be able to explore and create a network of cooperation in administration and management.

 The aim of this SUPERB module is to produce students who are balanced in terms of personality, spirituality and physical. It can help students to become skilled students and succeed in this world and the hereafter. This is very appropriate and in line with UCMI’s mission and vision as well as UCMI’s Strategic Plan (Strategy 5: Produce excellent students and alumni) and produce students who are professional, skilled, skilled and of high character with good academic qualifications and solid life skills in all areas. 

The graduate characteristics that will be produced based on the SUPERB module are as follows: 

  1. From zakat recipient to zakat payer. 
  2. One family one degree 
  3. Always thankful 
  4. Ready to help 
  5. Possess the knowledge skills and work practices that meet the employer’s requirements 
  6. Demonstrates an admirable and respected level of leadership ability 
  7. Be innovative
  8. Possess a critical and scientific thinking and; 
  9. Practicing pure characteristics in the relationship between humans and the environment.
